Start with the source
Manufacturer and company websites, official product documents and attributable first-party videos are preferred for company and model facts. Secondary sources may help discovery but should not silently replace the original evidence.
Record identity, scope and source date. Manufacturer statements remain manufacturer statements, not independent endorsements.
Separate facts from guidance
Published specifications require units and relevant test or operating conditions. Selection questions and illustrative process maps are editorial guidance, not guaranteed performance or validated production designs.
Do not invent capacities, prices, certifications, customers, testimonials or service coverage. State when a model or source has not been checked.
Images and video
Category imagery introduces a food or equipment topic; it must not be used as evidence of a named factory, manufacturer or model. Company-specific visuals should have an attributable source and appropriate permission or usage basis.
Video records identify their publisher and whether they match an exact model, equipment family or general process. An unrelated machine demonstration must not be presented as a model test.
Changes and corrections
Useful corrections should be checked against supporting material. Revisions update the affected record and its source information. No fixed re-check interval or response deadline is promised.
Supplier-submitted free records
Review public identity and exact product sources before publication. Check whether the company and model already have a record; update rather than duplicate. A sender using a different email domain does not establish company authorization.
Keep capacity and other supplier statements attributed and distinguish source checks from factory audits or certification. Record source addresses in the private evidence register; display the company website as plain text in the free public record without an outbound hyperlink.
Free inclusion is not a promise of ranking, priority placement or endorsement. Any publication acknowledgement refers only to the published information.
