Enoki processing equipment

Separate growing-base removal, fresh-bundle handling and prepared-ingredient bagging.

Crop guide · Enoki preprocessing

Start with the retained product

Enoki consists of long delicate stems in dense bundles with an unwanted growing base. Cultivation bottle filling and substrate handling are not fresh mushroom packing. LINPACK identifies an enoki premade-bag vacuum application; the inspected carousel explains bag handling, not a confirmed whole-fresh-bundle trial or a cooking process.

Compare washing, trimming or peeling, cutting, sorting, dewatering and packaging below. Attributed manufacturer images explain equipment roles. General family references require the actual crop configuration and a representative trial.

Choose the finished-product route

Fresh bundles

Trim growing base → inspect/separate bundles → clean as agreed → align → pack.

Retain edible stems.

Short portions

Trim base → supported portion cutting → inspect → drain if wet → dose.

Specify bundle cohesion and loose stems.

Prepared ingredients

Separately prepare product → compatible doser → configured bag pack.

State ingredient condition and any thermal process independently.

Agree pre-cleaning, trimming, cutting and final-wash order for the incoming material and intended use. These routes are specification aids, not universal process settings.

Washing: handle harvested food separately from substrate

KRONEN HEWA 3800 · Manufacturer equipment image; general washing-family reference

KRONEN HEWA 3800

KRONEN washing-family reference, not a confirmed enoki configuration. Agree whether a wet route is needed, then trial retention, movement and supported discharge.

Define base removal before the cleaner retained-product stream. Agree dry cleaning or the exact wet ingredient route. A general washer is not an enoki configuration; trial retention and tangling rather than copying a leaf-wash recipe.

Include water filling and management, draining, rinse arrangements and cleaning access in the quotation. No chemical dose, microbial reduction or ready-to-eat result is established by a machine image or application list.

Trimming: set the growing-base cut boundary

KRONEN

KRONEN supported manual preparation with separate waste collection. Define retained enoki tissue before selecting automation; this is not an automatic trimmer.

Use supported manual preparation or a supplier-confirmed base cutter. Show retained edible-stem length and allowed residue. Growing-bottle filling equipment does not prove postharvest trimming, and the manual station is not an automatic root cutter.

Cutting: support bundles before portion cutting

KRONEN GS 10-2 · Manufacturer equipment reference

KRONEN GS 10-2

KRONEN general cutting-family reference, separate from any other maker in the film. Trial actual enoki support, orientation and supplied tooling.

Decide whole bundles or short lengths. Long stems bend and tangle ahead of blades. The general cutter needs actual bundle support and tooling. Check compressed cuts and loose stems instead of selecting from nominal thickness alone.

Sorting: inspect the base-facing bundle surface

Herbort Inspection Belt 85 · Manufacturer workshop photograph; manual inspection reference

Herbort Inspection Belt 85

Herbort manual inspection reference. Arrange actual enoki surfaces for viewing; no automatic turning, optical grading or internal-defect detection is inferred.

Check substrate, damaged stems and accepted cap condition. Dense bundles hide material when viewed only from above. The inspection belt assists presentation without establishing automatic substrate detection.

Dewatering: check water retained inside bundles

On a wet route, evaluate bundles after drainage and transfer, including the centre. Trial proposed air or belt systems for tangling. Whole dry-packed bundles do not require dewatering by default.

Agree the free-water and damage assessment after a realistic hold, then check the next transfer and doser. Surface-water removal differs from thermal drying, cooking and sterilisation.

Packaging: distinguish fresh wrapping from ingredient bagging

HOPAK B Type · Manufacturer equipment reference; exact feeder and pack require confirmation

HOPAK B Type

HOPAK lists button, shiitake, oyster, enoki and king oyster applications. This machine-family reference requires the actual product, tray, feeder and seal trial.

HOPAK names enoki in its wrapping applications. LINPACK links a separate enoki premade-bag vacuum film; the watched carousel shows bag handling without establishing a whole fresh bundle as input. Confirm ingredient state, doser and seals. Vacuum does not establish cooking, sterilisation or shelf life.

If MAP is proposed, obtain the exact gas-handling hardware, film, seals and distribution brief. A general bagger does not establish a gas recipe, shelf life or every optional configuration.

Compare rotary premade-bag handling with fresh-bundle needs

LINPACK links an enoki premade-bag vacuum application. This inspected machine motion does not establish that the input is a whole fresh bundle, its ingredient state, or a cooking or sterilisation process. Confirm the compatible doser and actual product in a separate trial.

No crop capacity, yield, cleaning, damage or shelf-life guarantee is inferred from the film.

Prepare an enoki equipment trial brief

  1. Bring representative input: variety, maturity, size, incoming condition and seasonal variation.
  2. Show accepted and rejected samples: retained skin, leaf, stem, head or cut form, useful rework and finished pack.
  3. Record useful output: trim/peel loss, damage, fines, missed defects, free water and rejected packs.
  4. Test interfaces: product supports, drops, screens, drainage, dose control, stops and restart.
  5. Confirm supplied configuration: safe access, guards, tooling, water circuits, utilities, cleaning and training.

Questions before choosing enoki equipment

Does a growing-bottle line prepare enoki bundles for retail?

No. Cultivation bottle filling and harvested-food trimming, inspection and packing are separate tasks. Confirm each postharvest stage with the actual retained bundle.
