Process route

Seafood process planning

Align species, incoming form and finished format before defining machinery and line integration.

Choose a food route

Fish fillet processing

Start with species, feed preparation and the required skin-on or skinless finished fillet.

Shrimp processing

Choose species, feed state and finished shrimp format before sorting and peeling equipment.

Formed seafood processing

Prepare a specific fish or seafood recipe, then trial portion forming and the required finishing route.

Define the handovers

Feed specification
Species, size distribution, condition and preparation at line entry.
Primary processing
Define filleting, skinning, sorting or peeling duties with separate acceptance criteria.
Prepared-product branch
State whether a formulated base arrives ready for forming.
Finishing and preservation
Have qualified specialists define any cooking, cooling, inspection and release requirements.
Packing and storage
Agree package format, transfer conditions, storage responsibilities and line boundaries.

Equipment discovery

Fish filleting machines

Match filleting equipment to fish species, feed preparation and finished fillet specification.

Fish skinning machines

Compare skin-removal duties using actual fillet condition and the required finished surface.

Shrimp graders & sorters

Define feed form and grade boundaries before comparing shrimp sorting rates.

Shrimp peeling & deveining systems

Select the peeling route for the shrimp species, feed state and finished specification.

Seafood forming machines

Form a prepared seafood recipe into portions with the required shape, weight and structure.

Questions to settle before a quotation

  • Who is responsible for overall integration and accepted-output testing?
  • How are raw input, accepted product, trim and rejects recorded at each handover?
  • Which utilities, installation, staff training and support are included?

Ask bidders to state trial material, accepted output, losses, utilities, changeover time and scope exclusions in writing. Compare the offered configuration using the same recipe and acceptance criteria.

Common questions

Can one maximum rate describe a complete seafood factory?

No. Reconcile rates using the same material and accepted-output basis, including upstream supply and downstream constraints.

Is formed seafood processing the same as making surimi?

No. A forming project may start with a purchased prepared base. Dedicated surimi manufacture requires its own defined preparation and processing scope.
