Label printing, followed by application
SL32 is a direct thermal label printer. The product table lists 203 dpi, 72 mm print width, 25–80 mm media width and up to 180 mm/s printing speed. It lists USB with Ethernet or Bluetooth interface configurations; confirm the offered version. Printing speed is not an automatic label-application rate.
Food-prep application and media trial
The manufacturer describes food-prep and stock-rotation labeling in restaurants, delis and bakeries. Direct thermal media does not use a transfer ribbon. Test label legibility, adhesive and removal on the actual container through its storage and handling conditions. Labels need manual application or separately specified application equipment; this record does not claim that SL32 applies labels automatically.
Separate printing from traceability
A readable date, barcode or QR symbol is one output. A traceability workflow also needs approved batch data, links to production and dispatch records, readback checks, controlled corrections and an agreed response to unreadable or wrong codes. Printing does not establish regulatory compliance, shelf life or food safety.
