Crop guide · Koumo mushrooms preprocessing
Start with the retained product
Koumo is a commercial name that needs clarification before selecting equipment. Do not assume that a product sold as koumo is an identified Tricholoma species. Confirm the supplied product identification, retained cap and stem, and incoming condition. For confirmed Agaricus bisporus, use the button-mushroom guide. Select a route for the actual incoming lot rather than infer identity from a market name.
Compare washing, trimming or peeling, cutting, sorting, dewatering and packaging below. Attributed manufacturer images explain equipment roles. General family references require the actual crop configuration and a representative trial.
Choose the finished-product route
Confirmed cultivated button mushrooms
Confirm identity → use the linked button-mushroom route → trim/clean/grade → pack.
Use the retained-cap and stalk-foot specification for the confirmed product.
Other confirmed commercial cap-and-stem mushrooms
Document supplier identification and condition → trial support and trimming → inspect → pack.
A button-mushroom machine does not automatically fit another supplied species.
Prepared mushroom ingredients
Confirm retained cap/stem and input condition → clean/trim → configured slice or dice → inspect → dose.
This is an equipment specification guide, not a wild-mushroom identification guide.
Agree pre-cleaning, trimming, cutting and final-wash order for the incoming material and intended use. These routes are specification aids, not universal process settings.
Washing: identify input before selecting wet handling

GEGE
GEGE industrial button-mushroom-family line. Verify the actual supplied mushroom before transferring wet processing, supports or stalk-foot cutting assumptions.
Record supplier identification, cap/stem form and whether product is fresh, dried or rehydrated. Choose dry cleaning or a wet route from the actual product brief. GEGE industrial mushroom references do not establish washing requirements or suitability for every mushroom sold under a market name.
Include water filling and management, draining, rinse arrangements and cleaning access in the quotation. No chemical dose, microbial reduction or ready-to-eat result is established by a machine image or application list.
Trimming: define the retained cap and stem

KRONEN
KRONEN supported manual preparation table with separate waste collection. Define retained koumo mushrooms tissue; this is not an automatic peeler, leaf stripper or root recogniser.
Agree unwanted base removal using accepted samples. A button-mushroom stalk-foot cutter relies on particular presentation; do not transfer its settings or fixtures to unidentified lots. Supported manual preparation may be appropriate during evaluation.
Cutting: trial the identified product rather than the label

Xinhai
Xinhai mushroom slicing-family reference. No identified Tricholoma trial is established; verify the actual commercial product and offered tooling.
Whole caps may bypass cutting. For slices or dice, specify orientation, retained stems and useful fragments. The pictured Xinhai slicer is a mushroom-family reference, not a verified Tricholoma trial. Confirm actual species and tooling with the supplier.
Sorting: separate identification from grading

Herbort Inspection Belt 85
Herbort manual inspection reference. Present actual koumo mushrooms surfaces for viewing; no automatic turning, species identification or internal scanning is established.
Document species or commercial product identification upstream. Grading then concerns dimensions, damage and retained form. A manual inspection conveyor and a colour photograph cannot authenticate a mushroom species or determine edibility.
Dewatering: apply drainage only to the chosen wet route
Inspect bruising, broken caps and residual water after the actual transfer. Dried and rehydrated material require separate briefs. No generic leafy centrifuge setting is assumed suitable for all cap-and-stem mushrooms.
Agree the free-water and damage assessment after a realistic hold, then check the next transfer and doser. Surface-water removal differs from thermal drying, cooking and sterilisation.
Packaging: use the actual pack geometry

HOPAK B Type
HOPAK lists specific mushroom applications, not all Tricholoma species. Confirm actual cap, stem, tray, feeder and seals; no species or storage guarantee is inferred.
Agree cap size, stem protrusion, portion and tray dimensions before wrapper trials. HOPAK names specific mushroom applications, not all Tricholoma species. Test the identified product and feeder; the general wrapper is not a species-identification or shelf-life claim.
If MAP is proposed, obtain the exact gas-handling hardware, film, seals and distribution brief. A general bagger does not establish a gas recipe, shelf life or every optional configuration.
Compare cap-and-stem support after identifying the actual mushroom
GEGE shows an industrial button-mushroom stalk-foot cutting family. This is a conditional reference for a confirmed compatible cap-and-stem product, not proof of a Tricholoma species trial. If the supplied koumo means button mushrooms, use the dedicated button-mushroom route. Identification comes before transferring fixtures or handling settings.

Current manufacturer links and source identity were checked. Confirm the offered version and configuration separately from historical demonstration footage. No crop capacity, yield, cleaning, damage or shelf-life guarantee is inferred from the film.
Prepare a koumo mushrooms equipment trial brief
- Bring representative input: variety, maturity, size, incoming condition and seasonal variation.
- Show accepted and rejected samples: retained skin, leaf, stem, head or cut form, useful rework and finished pack.
- Record useful output: trim/peel loss, damage, fines, missed defects, free water and rejected packs.
- Test interfaces: product supports, drops, screens, drainage, dose control, stops and restart.
- Confirm supplied configuration: safe access, guards, tooling, water circuits, utilities, cleaning and training.
Questions before choosing koumo mushrooms equipment
If my supplier means button mushrooms by koumo, which page should I use?
Use the confirmed button-mushroom guide linked below. Record the actual product identity rather than treating Koumo and Tricholoma as automatically equivalent. Other supplied mushrooms need their own representative trial.
