Food cooking-line interfaces

Assign oil, steam, air, cleaning, transfer and downstream cooling responsibilities.

Assign the complete line boundary

  • State feed spacing, restraint, transfer height and discharge condition.
  • Assign oil circulation, solids removal, filtering and oil handling to the stated supply boundary.
  • Specify steam, heating, water, air, exhaust and control interfaces in the offer.
  • Define cleaning access, belt washing, CIP options and changeover responsibilities.
  • Agree the downstream cooling/freezing, packing and records handover.

Capacity belongs to the integrated duty

Compare accepted output over the actual production and cleaning cycle. Belt width, basket size and catalogue belt speed are different measures; none independently establishes finished-product throughput. Trial utility consumption and product losses need the same operating and measurement basis across offers.

Questions to settle before a quotation

  • Which upstream and downstream modules are supplied, and by whom?
  • Which utility conditions and product load support the offered rate?
  • What instruments, records and handover documents are included?

Ask bidders to state trial material, accepted output, losses, utilities, changeover time and scope exclusions in writing. Compare the offered configuration using the same recipe and acceptance criteria.
