Function and buying scope
Submit product viscosity, solids and particle information with the quotation request. Ask qualified process specialists to establish the treatment and preservation plan. Have each bidder show responsibility for treatment, buffer storage, filler connection, records and utilities. Do not convert a product's advertised range into a universal validated flow.
Prepare the supplier brief
- What product and configuration support the offered accepted flow?
- Are cold-chain, hot-fill and aseptic proposals compared separately?
- Who validates treatment, filling and the finished-product storage claim?
- What start-up, recovery, cleaning and cooling scope is included?
Ask each bidder to document samples, accepted output, losses, changeovers, utilities, installation and exclusions. Use the trial and quotation guide to keep offers comparable.
