Plant-based beverage processing

Distinguish whole-ingredient extraction from formulation using flour or a supplied liquid base.

Choose the starting material

Produce an ingredient base

Specify the grain, bean or nut input and recovery target. The extraction record identifies a system duty; it does not certify your finished beverage.

Formulate from supplied ingredients

Map purchased liquid bases, powders and recipe additions separately. Quote dispersion, formulation, any specified homogenization and final preservation against the actual recipe.

Connect the equipment duties

Use the map to prepare a quotation scope. It is an orientation aid, not a validated operating sequence.

Prepare the supplier brief

  • Which ingredients and formulations must acceptance testing cover?
  • Where are solids recovery, texture and sedimentation measured?
  • Are extraction and final preservation responsibilities separated?
  • How will ingredient changeovers and allergen controls be documented?

Ask each bidder to document samples, accepted output, losses, changeovers, utilities, installation and exclusions. Use the trial and quotation guide to keep offers comparable.

Before selecting equipment

Does a listed product mean a complete line?

No. Establish boundaries for preparation, equipment, controls, cleaning, filling and distribution in a written proposal.

Does source checking certify a supplier?

No. These records identify public manufacturer information. Certification, stock, pricing and project suitability require separate evidence.

Sources & record scope

Official sources checked on 3 October 2026. Manufacturer statements identify equipment scope; buyer questions are editorial aids. Verify the offered configuration and project-specific acceptance with the supplier.

Connected soy-food routes

For firm tofu, yuba and dry textured protein, use the separate food-family routes. Beverage extraction does not establish coagulation, pressing, film formation or protein extrusion.
