Pasta filata
The linked GEA vat family covers a pasta filata duty. Drainage, maturation and stretching remain separate parts of the supplier brief.
Other cheese families
Do not transfer a mozzarella-line specification to every fresh or pressed cheese. Ask for a product-specific flow diagram and a clearly identified equipment list.

Prepare the supplier brief
- Which cheese types, shapes and milk inputs define the project?
- What finished-cheese output is expected from the specified milk batch?
- Where are drainage, whey handling, stretching, pressing or brining included?
- How will cutting, handling losses and changeovers be recorded in the trial?
Agree on samples, accepted output, rejected output, downtime and changeovers separately. Ask the supplier to put inclusions, exclusions, utility demand, installation and service arrangements in writing.

Configurable cheese-vat family · GEA
A vat is not a complete cheese line. Do not transfer these specifications to GEA cylindrical coagulators or assume drainage, stretching, brining and packaging are included.
Route questions
Is this a complete plant design?
No. Use this directory to prepare the brief. Qualified specialists must design and validate the site-specific process.
Are the listed units interchangeable?
No. Compare the named duty, selected configuration and supporting trial evidence rather than the equipment label alone.
