Label, reader and vision reject integration

Connect label application, barcode decoding, visual checks, reject handling and batch records through an agreed trial.

Map three different duties

Define where the label is applied, where its symbol is read and where presence or placement is checked. Allocate expected product, batch and label-template data to each station. A sensor pass signal must not be treated as proof of correct ingredients, date or batch information.

Agree interfaces and the physical reject path

Record the actual trigger and encoder signals, PLC handshake, failure timeout, stop conditions and authorized bypass behavior. Specify the reject device separately, including confirmation, collection capacity and reconciliation. Agree the response to unreadable symbols, missing or wrong labels, sensor disconnection and power restart. These are buyer trial requirements, not claims that every listed device contains the functions.

Keep representative acceptance evidence

Run actual packaging materials at agreed line conditions, including product changes, starts, stops and deliberate failures. Record accepted and rejected counts, signal timing, false rejects and unresolved exceptions. Confirm retained batch records and permissions. No physical commissioning, regulatory certification or actual video validation has been performed by this directory.

Agree the complete line responsibility

Applying a label, decoding a symbol and inspecting label presence are separate duties. None of these records establishes a complete traceability system, food safety, legal label compliance or accepted line throughput. Specify PLC interfaces, reject hardware, batch-data checks and retained records with the supplier or integrator.
