Form the pack from rollstock
Thermoforming packaging uses a forming web to create pockets before loading and closing the pack. Select the film, tool arrangement and closing mode for the actual food. Preformed-bag chamber packaging and sealing a purchased tray are separate equipment routes.

Plan the actual pack
Specify food condition, portion geometry, film structure, formed pocket, seal layer and the receiving operation. Agree accepted packs per hour with the actual tooling, loading, rejects, cleaning and changeovers. Set packaging-gas and storage requirements separately with the food project team; no universal shelf-life result is assigned.
