Published specifications and configuration scope: Manual bag opener series
RSM is the manufacturer’s named manual bag-opening series. Its published description uses a supported bag-rest and grille over a hopper, with a hood around the unloading area. It serves manually emptied sacks; it is not documented here as an automatic bag-cutting line or a tonne-bag lifting station.
Agree the dust and discharge arrangement
The RSM page lists versions with or without an integrated de-dusting filter, and provision for centralised suction. In the integrated-filter version, filter elements are cleaned by reverse air jets. Select the offered dust collection, hopper outlet and discharge equipment with the supplier. Identify the owner of airflow, filter maintenance and material recovery; filter cleaning is distinct from process cleaning.
Select materials and bag disposal
The series lists carbon steel and 304L or 316L stainless-steel material options. Obtain the actual product-contact material, finish, seals, access and cleaning documentation for the offered food configuration. Agree handling of bag liners, empty sacks and retained powder separately. COM waste-bag compaction and other accessories must be stated on the quote rather than assumed to be included.
