Questions to settle before a quotation
- Which bulk density, particle size, moisture and flow behaviour represent the material?
- What route, inlet condition and screw geometry are offered?
- How will residual material, product damage and blend variation be measured?
Ask bidders to state trial material, accepted output, losses, utilities, changeover time and scope exclusions in writing. Compare the offered configuration using the same recipe and acceptance criteria.
Equipment trial & quotation guideSupply & performance boundaries
Conveying and volumetric feed are not gravimetric dose verification. A general enclosed design does not establish universal dust containment, blend uniformity, cleaning acceptance or suitability for every bulk material.
Selection guides
Conveyor acceptance planning
Compare delivered product, damage, residual material and interruptions.
Material transfer interfaces
Define inlet, discharge, control and cleaning responsibilities.
Common questions
Is every configuration appropriate for every food?
Specify representative product trials and the offered contact materials, supports, utilities and controls.
Does a conveying record define a complete food line?
Agree interfaces with receiving machines and assign responsibility for upstream feed, discharge and cleaning.
Sources & record scope
Official manufacturer pages checked on 4 October 2026. Product facts are attributed; route maps and buyer questions are editorial planning aids. Confirm the offered configuration with the manufacturer.
Bagged ingredient receiving, unloading and feed
Connect incoming sacks or FIBCs to the offered unloading station, material transfer and recipe weighing. Confirm the actual food-contact and cleaning configuration; manual bag opening, bulk-bag discharge and dosing are separately specified duties.
Connect screened powder to screw transfer
Specify whether screening is upstream or downstream of conveying, receiver readiness, retained fraction and the prevention of screen bypass. Conveyor output is not sieve performance.
