Crop guide · Loquat preprocessing
Start with the retained product
Compare the finished-product routes before combining machines. Attributed equipment photographs, output examples and English selection notes below explain the duties. Confirm the actual fruit, supplied tooling and accepted output with representative samples.
Compare washing, trimming or peeling, cutting, sorting, dewatering and packaging below. Attributed manufacturer images explain equipment roles. General family references require the actual crop configuration and a representative trial.
Choose the finished-product route
Whole fresh fruit
inspect, clean as specified, classify and pack with suitable supports.
Compare the feed and accepted output at every handoff.
Seed-removed fruit or pieces
prepare ends and peel as ordered, remove seeds, inspect and cut if required.
Compare the feed and accepted output at every handoff.
Pulp or preserved ingredients
prepare useful flesh, reduce or portion, then follow the separately designed downstream process.
Compare the feed and accepted output at every handoff.
Agree pre-cleaning, trimming, cutting and final-wash order for the incoming material and intended use. These routes are specification aids, not universal process settings.
Washing: match cleaning to the destination
Specify incoming condition, maturity and the desired exterior finish before choosing wet handling or brush contact. Compare supported transfers and damage after cleaning. Whole-fruit washing does not remove internal seeds or define the preparation needed for a flesh ingredient. Agree the handoff from exterior handling into opening, peeling or seed-removal operations.
Trimming: define skin, stem and seed preparation

Hexu
A rotary presentation and punching reference. Confirm manual placement, actual seed arrangement and fruit support. Standard pitting and optional cutting must be stated separately in the offer.

Hexu
The detail connects the rotary holder with a prepared-fruit example. Define peel retention, seed remnants and accepted flesh damage in the actual trial. It is not a measured recovery or fully automatic peeling claim.
Define calyx/end trimming, skin retention and seed removal separately. Hexu presents a rotary-mould loquat pitter with manual placement and a punching mechanism. It describes standard pitting separately from optional cutting. Confirm whether the quoted input is peeled or skin-on, how each fruit is held, and how the supplied tool handles the actual seed arrangement. No seed-free result is assumed from the exterior photograph.
Cutting: choose pieces, reduction or extraction
Choose retained whole flesh, halves, quarters or pulp before buying cutting equipment. Optional pitting-plus-cutting is a different supplied configuration from standard pitting. Agree cut orientation, seed-cavity remnants and the accepted flesh damage with actual fruit. Pulp reduction would be another operation; the rotary pitter is not presented as a juice extractor.
Sorting: inspect the retained product

Herbort Inspection Belt 85
A manual inspection conveyor. Agree the viewing and reject procedure; this photograph does not establish optical or internal-defect detection.
Inspect whole fruit before preparation, then check the retained flesh for seed material, unwanted end tissue, skin remnants where relevant and damaged pieces. Specify accepted and rejected samples at the operator station. A pitter is not an independently established seed-fragment detector; final inspection and waste separation remain purchase requirements.
Dewatering: separate surface water from processing
Compare free-water drainage around prepared flesh without using compression as a drying method. Record useful juice separately from rinse-water carryover. Thermal dehydration, concentration or preparation for preserved products requires a separate process design and equipment selection; a pitting-machine photo establishes none of those treatment conditions.
Packaging: match support, portioning and closure
Whole-fruit packs, seed-removed portions and pulp ingredients need different feeders and pack supports. Trial the actual accepted form for drops, sticking, pooling and contamination near the closure. Confirm final portioning and sealing separately from the pitter collection outlet. A package choice alone does not establish preservation or storage life.
Compare the actual retained product in a supplier trial
For loquat, ask the maker to demonstrate the intended whole-fruit, prepared-piece or ingredient route. No unrelated generic film is substituted here. The equipment photographs and written source descriptions explain the roles without requiring video playback.
Prepare a loquat equipment trial brief
- Bring representative input: variety, maturity, size, incoming condition and seasonal variation.
- Show accepted and rejected samples: retained skin, leaf, stem, head or cut form, useful rework and finished pack.
- Record useful output: trim/peel loss, damage, fines, missed defects, free water and rejected packs.
- Test interfaces: product supports, drops, screens, drainage, dose control, stops and restart.
- Confirm supplied configuration: safe access, guards, tooling, water circuits, utilities, cleaning and training.
Questions before choosing loquat equipment
What peel and end preparation does the pitter require?
Include this point in the supplier trial and quotation. Show actual accepted and rejected samples, and record the supplied configuration and retained output.
How does the actual tool handle the fruit and seed arrangement?
Include this point in the supplier trial and quotation. Preparation, retained product and downstream interfaces must be agreed separately from the equipment photograph.
Is cutting included or an optional configuration?
Include this point in the supplier trial and quotation. Preparation, retained product and downstream interfaces must be agreed separately from the equipment photograph.
