Crop guide · Mango preprocessing
Start with the retained product
A mango line can end with whole fruit, prepared pieces or an ingredient stream. Compare those routes before combining machines. Manufacturer references below explain equipment duties; the actual fruit, tooling and accepted output remain part of the supply specification.
Compare washing, trimming or peeling, cutting, sorting, dewatering and packaging below. Attributed manufacturer images explain equipment roles. General family references require the actual crop configuration and a representative trial.
Choose the finished-product route
Whole fresh fruit
inspect, clean as specified, grade and pack.
Compare actual input and accepted output before choosing the line.
Fresh-cut cheeks or pieces
clean, peel, remove the stone, inspect and cut.
Compare actual input and accepted output before choosing the line.
Puree
prepare fruit and use a dedicated destoning/pulp-separation route before refining and filling.
Compare actual input and accepted output before choosing the line.
Agree pre-cleaning, trimming, cutting and final-wash order for the incoming material and intended use. These routes are specification aids, not universal process settings.
Washing: match cleaning to the destination
Match the proposed cleaning to the incoming mango condition and destination. Check support, skin finish and transfer damage. Do not assume that a whole-fruit wash establishes a ready-to-eat fresh-cut process.
Trimming: separate peel, seed, core and stone decisions

ASTRA KA-750PM
A manufacturer mango-peeling photograph. Stone removal remains a separate operation; confirm the offered machine revision and actual tooling.
Select the retained product before choosing peel and stone removal. ASTRA lists mango peeling for its large-fruit family. Confirm cultivar, maturity, fruit shape and stone position with the actual supports and blade; peeling does not by itself establish stone removal.
Cutting: choose pieces, reduction or extraction

Bertuzzi MangoDestoner
A processing destoner reference. Do not assume a puree-oriented separation machine produces intact fresh-cut cheeks. Test the actual cultivar, stone and maturity.
Fresh-cut cheeks and puree require different stone-removal outcomes. Bertuzzi illustrates a MangoDestoner for processing material; do not present it as proof of intact retail cheeks. After preparation, specify cut shape and inspect stone fragments, stringy material and damage.
Sorting: inspect the retained product

Herbort Inspection Belt 85
A manual inspection conveyor. Agree the viewing and reject procedure; this photograph does not establish optical or internal-defect detection.
Whole-fruit external grading is separate from inspecting peeled or destoned material. Provide accepted flesh, unwanted peel, stone fragments and useful rework samples. No universal fragment-removal or internal-defect guarantee is inferred.
Dewatering: distinguish water removal from processing
Drain process water while tracking juice leakage and flesh damage. Puree deaeration, concentration or pressing is a different duty from draining cut mango pieces. Keep these outputs separate in the equipment brief.
Packaging: match the feeder and final pack

Bertuzzi
A bulk processing-line filling reference, not a whole-fruit or fresh-cut packer. Product preservation and filling must be designed as one system; the image alone establishes no validated treatment or storage life.
Supported fresh-cut trays, frozen pieces and bulk puree require different feeders and closures. The bulk aseptic-filler reference belongs only to a designed processing/preservation line; it is not a fresh-mango packer.
Mango equipment reference
ASTRA links this KA-750PM family reference and explicitly lists mango peeling. The family also processes other large fruits. Peeling and mango stone removal are separate duties, and current tooling must be confirmed.

Questions to compare with the proposed equipment
- Is the retained product intact cheeks, pieces or puree?
- Where does stone removal occur?
- What fruit maturity and stone geometry are included in the trial?
These comparison questions follow the written equipment description. Video content and playback have not been independently reviewed. No timestamps, measured result or verified playback claim is supplied. The written guide stands on its own.
Prepare a mango equipment trial brief
- Bring representative input: variety, maturity, size, incoming condition and seasonal variation.
- Show accepted and rejected samples: retained skin, leaf, stem, head or cut form, useful rework and finished pack.
- Record useful output: trim/peel loss, damage, fines, missed defects, free water and rejected packs.
- Test interfaces: product supports, drops, screens, drainage, dose control, stops and restart.
- Confirm supplied configuration: safe access, guards, tooling, water circuits, utilities, cleaning and training.
Questions before choosing mango equipment
Can one machine perform all mango preparation stages?
No. Whole-fruit handling, peeling or seed/stone removal, cutting, refining and packing have different duties. Compare actual product trials and the supplied interfaces rather than treating a machine photograph as a complete line.
