Receive an identified pallet load
Start with the agreed case-to-pallet record, layer pattern and load limits. Confirm pallet identity, product batch and destination. Define the handover condition from the palletizer and ownership of incomplete layers, damaged cases and unreadable labels.
Apply the agreed film or straps
Select wrapping, strapping or their combination from representative package trials. Record material grade, offered equipment settings, edge protection and the agreed method of checking the result. Keep the transport securing process separate from primary-pack sealing and food-process controls.
Transfer and release for dispatch
Match the load to each conveyor and transfer position. Maintain the pallet identifier and agreed load checks through accumulation, collection and dispatch. For chilled or frozen foods, coordinate the handover with the site’s established temperature-control arrangements; wrapping is not refrigeration or a shelf-life validation.
Records and responsible parties
Retain offered drawings, trial results, exceptions, commissioning records and the named integrator. Agree who can accept the load, who resolves packaging defects and who supplies operating instructions. This directory has not commissioned these machines or tested a customer pallet.
Specify the supplied system
List the wrapper or strapper, film or strap, pallet conveyors, transfer devices, controls, guarding and installer responsibilities in the offer.
