Food powder screening before ingredient feeding

Documented references connected to food, process and supplier information.

Plan receiving through dosing

Record ingredient identity and incoming bag condition; select the screen duty and feed point; collect and identify retained material; route accepted material to the specified conveyor and dosing equipment. State whether screening precedes or follows conveying and how screen failure stops or diverts feed. This is planning guidance, not a validated production or food-safety recipe.

Keep batches and changeovers traceable

Record mesh identity, screen condition, cleaning release, ingredient batch, retained fraction and transfer destination. Agree what happens after a damaged screen, abnormal retained material or a failed challenge. Screen inspection, allergen changeover, dust controls and final metal detection remain separate responsibilities.

Decide whether retained material needs sizing

Oversize separation does not establish that retained material may be reworked. Agree material identity, permitted size reduction and screening location through representative trials.
